Planetary Congress, and only the 4th time it has been held in the United States. This year the Congress will host the largest gathering of delegates from around the world in its history. The week-long event includes publicly attended technical sessions, featuring Apollo era crew panels, updates on human activities and research in space, and briefings on future plans for low-Earth orbit and exploration back to the Moon and on to Mars. The attending delegates will also dedicate time on October 16, 2019 to Community Day, to meet with students of all ages and members of the public throughout the State of Texas. There are also numerous ceremonies and cultural/tourism events during the Congress featuring the best of Texas culture and arts.
